Studio Esiya
The name Esiya originates from the Sanskrit word Eshita or Esita. The name Esiya is derived from Prakrit, a group of ancient Indian languages that includes Brahmi and Pali. Esita shares the same meaning as Eshita, Isita, or Ishita. It is a name found within Hinduism. “Esiya” is a naturally-formed word in Prakrit. Sanskrit, with its rich grammar and vast vocabulary, holds the most extensive body of literature in the world, far surpassing its sister languages Greek and Latin. The broadest definition of “Prakrit” refers to any Middle Indo-Aryan language that deviates in some way from Sanskrit. One of these, Brahmi, was written in a script that resembled hieroglyphs.
Characteristics of Brahmi (a language/script within Prakrit, from ancient India)
• Writing direction: Left to right
• Form: Characterized by simple lines and curves
• Usage: Originally used for inscriptions in stone and copper, often seen in the edicts of Emperor Ashoka
Brahmi representation:
This is a phonetic rendering of “Esiya.” Note that Brahmi was highly contextual, and certain sounds or combinations may vary in ancient inscriptions.
In Prakrit, an old language closely related to Sanskrit and commonly used in Indian literature and religious texts, Esiya generally means “wisher” or “desirer.” It is derived from the Sanskrit word Eshya, meaning “one who wishes” or “one who strives.”
Prakrit was one of the oldest known languages of India, dating back to around the 6th century BCE. and was widely used in Jain and Buddhist texts. In that context, Esiya could refer to someone who harbors a desire or aspiration—possibly in a spiritual or philosophical sense.

Campaign Title: W/ ME
I’m proud to present the latest branding campaign from Studio Esiya: W/ ME [with me].
W/ ME is a fictional product line built around a single, central idea: celebrating your own moment. Whether it’s big or small, loud or quiet — joy lives in being fully present. This line is an ode to returning home to yourself. Living in the now, with yourself. In balance with who you are.
This campaign is deeply rooted in my personal story. Born in India and raised in the Netherlands, I’ve learned the value of living consciously between cultures, rhythms, and rituals. A year living in India taught me how to slow down. The Netherlands gave me structure. That balance is at the heart of Studio Esiya — and it’s what W/ ME expresses.
The W/ ME line features a collection of limited edition products — each one designed as a physical expression of a personal ritual, a moment of quiet joy:
• SHINE W/ ME – a T-shirt to let your outfit radiate
• DANCE W/ ME – a vinyl design that celebrates your rhythm and movement
• TAKE YOU W/ ME – a tote bag for what truly matters to you
• IN THE NOW W/ ME – a scented candle to anchor you in the present
• UNPACK W/ ME – a gift box made to be unwrapped for yourself — or
someone else
W/ ME isn’t just about products. It’s a feeling, a mindset, a gentle reminder: You are enough. Your moment matters. Be with you. W/ ME.
